My name is Petra and I'm a graphics engineer, book designer, and passionate about the DIY world with 7 years experience in designing and creating activity books.

​My specialization is designing and producing educational and didactic books for children. The books are designed to help children improve fine motor skills, develop attention, imagination, cognitive skills, ability to recognize colors, letters, numbers, shapes, and the world around them.
My story
What made me make my first quiet book?
​
As my child’s 2nd birthday approached, I was looking for ideas on what would be the best gift for a kid who loves to learn and explore the world. I wanted it to be something special, something new and unique, memorable and created with a personal touch. Also, that would encourage his imagination and fine motor skills.
And that's how I discovered quiet books.
After detailed research, I fell in love with interactive books and finally decided to make the first quiet book.

At first, I thought it will be a fast and fun project. And yes, it was very fun, but not really fast. It took me more than 6 months to create my first book. But it definitely was worth it!

Ever since I created my first book, I can’t stop thinking about how I can create a new educational activity. So after a while, I invested in the new sewing machine and used all my graphic knowledge in the process of making books.

And so, in 2016 a handicraft company ​Quiet book - My Felting Dreams specialized for producing personalized activity books for children were born.
Since then, I can say that my life's dream has come true!

Till today, I made so many different quiet books and simply fell in love with making interactive books for kids all around the world.
